Chronic Disease Indicators

The Chronic Disease Indicators (CDI) is a cross-cutting set
of 90 indicators that were developed by consensus and that
allows states and territories to uniformly define, collect,
and report chronic disease data that are important to public
health practice and available at the state level. In addition
to providing access to state-specific indicator data, the
CDI web site serves as a gateway to additional information
and data resources.

The American
Human Development Project has announced the introduction
of the American
Human Development Index, a single measure of well-being
for all Americans based on indicators in the areas of health,
education, and income.
Create Customized Data Sheets @ GlobalHealthFacts.org
GlobalHealthFacts.org is a free Kaiser Foundation
Web site that provides easy access to the latest country-level
health information.
Now, Web visitors can create customized data sheets comparing
up to five countries against any or all of the 100 health,
demographic and economic indicators on lobalHealthFacts.org.
Each data sheet can be viewed online, converted into a PDF
file, printed, emailed or saved so it can be easily shared
electronically with colleagues, handed out at meetings or
briefings, and used for a variety of other purposes.
